About Journal:
As mentioned earlier the Association started publication of the the Journal of the day of the birth of Association in September 1956, under the name of Indian Journal of Public Health. It is the only Journal of its kind in India, dealing exclusively with public health matters. Original articles, results of investigation and research, special articles, short communications, Articles on National health Program, Reports, Reviews, Notes and News as well as association matters are published in the journal. A glance at the volumes so far published will show a very wide coverage of public health problems and associated subjects under the Indian context. It has also received international recognition and referred in index medicus and pubmed. All workers associated with its publication are honorary and the financial position does not yet permit its conversion to monthly issue. To encourage high standards of scientific contribution, in the memory of Late Dr. R. N. Roy, an annual token prize is given to the author/authors for his/her/their best article of the year as per the judgment of an elected sub-committee.
