Subject : “IPHA Inter Medical College Public Health Quiz Competition: 2019” for Medical Students.

Dear Sir / Madam,
“IPHA Inter Medical College Public Health Quiz Competition:2019” is planned to be conducted for the medical students of all the Medical Colleges / Institutes in Maharashtra on 5th April 2019 under the auspices of the Maharashtra State Branch of Indian Public Health Association in B J Government Medical College, Pune. The contest will be conducted as per the format given below:

1. Participants: One team of two students studying in 6th / 7th semester (III M.B.B.S) from Each Medical College/ Institute
2. Financial support, prizes and certificates: Each student participant will be paid actual bus / train fare (sleeper class) for the to and fro journey and Rs. 100/- as D.A. Cash prizes will be awarded @ Rs.1500/- to 1st Team, Rs. 1000/- to the 2nd Team, Rs. 800 to the 3rd Team, Rs. 600/- to the 4th team and Rs. 400/- to the 5th team participating in the contest by IPHA-Maharashtra Branch in addition to their TA/DA. All the participants will be awarded a certificate of participation.
3. A Rolling Trophy donated by the Serum Institute of India Ltd., Pune in memory of Late Dr. Jal Mehta will be awarded to the winning team.
4. An elimination round based on MCQs will be conducted to select the best five teams to participate in the final round. Questions in the Quiz Competition will be asked from all topics in the subject as per the latest text-book of PSM by J.E.Park, and books on MCQ concerned with PSM / Public Health. Format for the conduct of Quiz Competition is given as in Annexure with this letter.
