Presently he is working as Professor and Head, Department of Community Medicine, Malla Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences, Suraram, Hyderabad, Telangana, India with a total teaching experience of 16 years
He has total 60 publications to his credit in national and international journals and pub med indexed journal. His h-index is 8 and i-10 index is 7 with 347 citations & > 16,000 reads.
He has been internal (13) & external examiner (46) for UG & PG at various reputed universities, had worked as question paper setter as well as moderator with 2 times as external examiner at Anna Medical College, Mauritius.
He has attended 17 workshops and 10 CMEs from time to time and had undergone training three different times which were organized by government of India. He has attended 7 conferences and presented papers. Thrice he was called as guest speaker.
He is a life member of IAPSM, IPHA, IMA & EFI.
He has guided 13 UG projects, 3 ICMR STS projects, and worked as PG guide
He is presently reviewer for 4 reputed journals including IJPH. Presently he is handling MRIMS JHS as editor in chief since > 6 years.
He has organized 8 state level workshops
His greatest achievement is organizing 1st Joint Conference of Telangana State Chapters of IAPSM & IPHA organized by Department of Community Medicine, MRIMS from 30 Nov to 1 Dec 2018 with theme ” Universal Health Coverage: Opportunities & Challenges” as “Organizing Chairman” with pre conference workshop on Health Economics on 29 Nov 2018.
Presently he is also working as Chairman, STF, RNTCP for Telangana State.
He is on the Governing Council of IAPSM (National) as member and also as editorial board member of IJCM (2019-20)
I has carried out one funded research project and submitted one to RNTCP as PI.
He has credit of approved funded research project as Co-PI in RNTCP-OR.
