Have held the post of office bearer, either in Headquarter of IPHA or in State Branch of any public Health groups of the association by HQ or, sub-committees as formed by the Headquarter or served as CC member. In this regard the election committee will consider self-declaration by the candidate.

 

 

3. No candidate will be eligible for the same post for more than two consecutive terms. In this regard the election committee will consider self-declaration by the candidate.

All members of Editorial Board should preferably be from academic and research Institutes or with a background of research and publication in IJPH or any indexed Journal, or a master degree from a recognised university, or has carried out a research project under the guidance of donor agencies like ICMR, DST, WHO, UNICEF etc. Thus brief bio-data will have to submit at the time of filing nomination for Editorial Board membership this should include publication and research activities carried out and projects conducted / conducting.

** The Managing Editor/ Assistant Managing Editor and Editor/ Chief Editor should be from the members belonging to the place where the Head Quarter is situated to facilitate functioning of the IJPH.

 1. Nomination Procedure for all Office Bearers, CC and EB Members:

  1. Nomination proforma as uploaded in the IPHA website should be used.
  2. The Nomination form should be completed in all respect.
  3. Nomination of the candidate should be proposed and signed by a valid member of the association 
  4. A valid member other than the person who proposed it shall second the nomination paper and sign in it.
  5. Nomination form should accompany Brief Biodata mentioning at least qualification, designation and important public health activities carried out by him/her.
  6. The candidate should give a self-declaration about the post she or he is holding presently/ or served earlier with tenure. [In a separate enclosure attached]
  7. For Editorial board member Central council member and Fellow member can nominate
  8. Hard copy of nomination should reach IPHA Office by hand or speed post or by courier within 5-00 PM on 30/11/2022
  9. Nominations fee of Rs.2000/- (non-refundable) should be paid online for each Nomination Form. Proof of transaction should either be sent in email ([email protected]) or be attached with the nomination form.

2. Important dates for the election process:

  • Uploading of Election Procedures & Nominations: From 15th November 2022
  • Last date of receiving election nominations: 5:00 PM on 30th November 2022
  • Screening of nominations: From 1st December 2022 to 12th December 2022
  • Declaration of eligible candidates for all the posts: 14th December 2022
  • Last date of withdrawal nomination: 19th December 2022 by 4.00 PM [through Email from the Email ID of the candidate registered with IPHA member database]
  • Declaration of final list of eligible candidates: 21st December 2022
  • Final voter list for different categories: 31st Dec 2022
  • Date of Election: 16th January 09:00 am to 30th January 2023 11:59 pm

 

Please Note:

A document with all technical details of the process of online voting with demonstration video will be shared in the IPHA website before start of online voting.
Email ID of all valid voters and candidates must be available and registered with the membership database of the IPHA HQ.
This Email ID will be used for logging-in to the online voting site and receiving OTP for accessing the voting page. ‘Confirmation message’ for successful voting will also be received in the same Email ID.
The elected members will assume their offices after the AGBM approval and at the time of meeting of the newly elected Central Council. The old committee will handover the charge at AGBM.
